[Ohio_LT] Registration Deadline Extended: Collaborative Conservation Workshop

Friends and Colleagues-

Apologies for adding one more message to your inbox.  The attached
workshop announcement will likely be of interest to you, and the
registration deadline has been extended until March 24, 2009.

On March 26 and 27, the University of Michigan-Flint and the Institute
for Conservation Leadership will be offering a two day workshop series
on collaborative conservation. This workshop is for staff and
volunteers who want to initiate or strengthen a cooperative
partnership, project or coalition. It will give you the tools to build
a more effective collaborative effort between organizations.  The
workshop is being held in downtown Flint, and funding to offset the
costs has been generously provided by the Ruth Mott Foundation and the
CS Mott Foundation.

Tuition is free for participants from Michigan’s
Genesee-Lapeer-Shiawassee Region.

Tuition for participants NOT from Michigan’s Genesee-Lapeer-Shiawassee Region:

Day 1: $120 for the first person and  $70 for each additional
participant from an organization
Day 2: $70 per person (for teams only)

Workshop fees include all materials and lunch.  Registration is online
at www.icl.org/register Participants may register for Day One or for
the entire Two Day Series. The first day is a prerequisite for the
second day. Individual organizations working in a collaboration may
register as a team.
