How To Maximize Your Fundraising Database

A Conference Call for Land Trusts

Tuesday, June 23, 2009
1:00pm - 2:00pm Eastern
(12:00pm - 1:00pm Central)

Are you having a difficult time navigating the world of fundraising databases? Do you have a pressing question about databases but don't know where to turn? Please join David Allen, Fundraising Consultant, during our "Ask An Expert" conference call next Tuesday, June 23. David will answer your questions, discuss how to decide what kind of system is appropriate for your land trust, and facilitate a discussion among your land trust colleagues about their experiences with different vendor databases.

Who Should Participate?
This conference call is a wonderful opportunity for fundraising staff, board members, executive directors and volunteers to explore the topic of databases with a fundraising expert and experienced fellow colleagues. We hope this discussion will serve as a first step in developing a peer network of land trust professionals and volunteers who run their organizations' databases.

How to Participate:
Because of generous support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, this conference call is free to all representatives of Land Trust Alliance member organizations operating in the Midwest. Simply call 888-338-1010 and enter the passcode number 90125. We suggest calling in a few minutes early since the talk will begin promptly at 1:00 pm Eastern (12:00 pm Central).

No pre-registration is required. As a courtesy, we request that you send an e-mail message to MaryKay O'Donnell at mkodonnell at lta.org<mailto:mkodonnell at lta.org> to notify us of your attendance in lieu of our taking roll call during the meeting. This will allow us to distribute follow-up materials to participants after the call.

Have a question you would like to discuss during the call? MaryKay will accept e-mail submissions<mailto:mkodonnell at lta.org> until 12:00pm Eastern (11:00am Central) on Monday, June 20.

Questions:
For content questions, please contact MaryKay O'Donnell at 269-352-7032 or mkodonnell at lta.org<mailto:mkodonnell at lta.org>.

We look forward to talking with you.
