Mary Kay,

Thanks.....I did end up with a property visit this morning, so I will be in
transit during the meeting. I will try to listen in. Britta Kelly of West
Wisconsin will also try and tune in as well.

Regarding a report, I will say:

* WWLT will have closed on 6 Land Protection Agreements in the Superior
Basin by the end of the year. One was dedicated as a state natural area. One
will be donated to a school to serve as an outdoor classroom. Two are in the
same township on the Amnicon River which will add to an 800 acre easement
that we already hold on the same water body.

* We have served on the National Estuary Research Reserve site selection
team , and have facilitated involvement and commitment from the City of
Superior to actively support the National Reserve on the St. Louis River
Estuary.

* The City of Superior contracted with WWLT to develop the conservation
easement language for the 300+ acre wetland bank for the Army Corps of
Engineers, Special Area Management Plan located at the base of Wisconsin
Point.

* WWLT serves on the Douglas County Comprehensive Planning committee to help
in corporate the concept of permanent land protection as a goal of the
townships in the basin for Douglas County.

*Contracted with TNC to conduct the annual monitoring for the Brule River
Conservation Easements, held since the mid 1980's. (~20 easements)

These are some of the conceptual and tangible ways that we are connecting to
Lake Superior. We look forward to some large projects developing and closing
in the next 2 years.

We are still interested in the mining rights training. Enjoy a successful
meeting.

Hi everyone,

Since it has been awhile, I have attached the notes from our call last
summer to remind us all of what was discussed.

The call in number for today is 888-338-1010, Passcode 2295.

The call will be from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Eastern time (11:00 - 12:00 Central).
Can everyone be ready with a 2-3 minute update?

Thanks, MaryKay
