Wallkill Valley Land Trust seeks a Development Director

The Wallkill Valley Land Trust, a growing community-based land conservation organization in Ulster County, seeks a Development Director to start June 1st.  Working closely with the Executive Director, the Development Director will manage fundraising, communication, marketing, grant writing, and events.   This is a full time position with a highly competitive salary and benefits including health insurance and retirement.   



The Land Trust has protected 21 properties and nearly 1500 acres.  In 2008 it has 28 land preservation projects in progress totaling over 1800 additional acres.   In addition the Land Trust is co-leading a collaboration to strengthen land conservation throughout the county.
