We live in a culture increasingly saturated with sophisticated marketing
appeals competing for people's time and concern. Those of us working to
protect open space and valuable habitats need - now, more than ever - to
be strategic in how we leverage our limited resources to gain our
audiences' attention. The value that a strategic communications plan can
bring to your work is greater today than ever before. 

This one-day workshop, presented by Jeffrey Potter, will introduce
Biodiversity Project's values-based strategic communications techniques.
National and regional public opinion research will be discussed as
participants draft their own strategic communications plans to meet
their conservation or fundraising goals. 

Registration is $65 for Land Trust Alliance Member Land Trusts and $85
for all others and includes lunch, refreshments and related handouts.
